Who Are we?
Bluemoonhire sound and light was founded and run by the late great John Whippy who tragically passed away in July 2006.John believed in great service and great value for all his customers and had a real passion for his craft.Rather than let John's business fold I took up the challenge of carrying on the high standards he set.Much like John I have a real passion for customer service and music and have had experience of DJ'ing and mixing live sound. From a houseparty to a wedding celebration to a full-on disco, we have the right level of equipment for you. We can also provide a wide range of professional effect lighting and fog for the full disco experience. We can provide intelligent advice and guidance about the level of gear that will best suit your requirements and budget to ensure superlative results and value for money based on years of real-world experience mixing live sound for bands and DJ'ing at parties and functions.
Conferencing/and Speech
We can offer a range of solutions for 50-400 seat conferences to Pa's for the local fete or village meeting.See our speech page for the range of options available.
We have a great range of lighting for all occasions.Our lighting stock comprises colourchanger wash/floods, colourchanger DMX spots and ambient water-shadow effects, through industry standard Pro DJ effects projectors . All of our lighting is configured to run as stand-alones when you just want to plug-and-play, but can of course also be managed via a DMX controller for more sophisticated requirements. We love lighting, and take it as seriously as sound. Adding hazers and smoke generators, helps to get the best from your lighting.
We can give you a range of options for these,a couple of hours in the afternoon to a few hours early evening.You'll get a dj a nice sound system so all the young ones(and maybe even the parents!!) can have a good boogie!!!Please contact us to discuss.
